ORGANIZATIONAL CHART OF THE NEGORI SEMBILAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION (PERMANIS UPM) SESSION 2024/2025

INTRODUCTION

The Negeri Sembilan Student Association (PERMANIS UPM) is an association that brings together students from Negeri Sembilan studying at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). This association was officially registered under the UPM Student Affairs Division in 2013. The main objective of this association is to look after the welfare of students who are from or residing in Negeri Sembilan.

PERMANIS UPM also has a very close relationship with the Negeri Sembilan Foundation. The association serves as a voice and intermediary for students with the Negeri Sembilan government in general and the Negeri Sembilan Foundation specifically. Students’ opinions and ideas regarding state government policies, especially those related to youth and students, can be voiced through this association.

PERMANIS UPM is one of the most active student associations during the 2020/2021 session. It organized 12 programs, benefiting over 10,000 participants in total. These programs were not only attended by students from Negeri Sembilan, but also by students from all backgrounds at UPM. In fact, some programs organized by PERMANIS UPM were also attended by students from other universities.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NEGERI SEMBILAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION (PERMANIS UPM)

• To produce highly competent and competitive students from Negeri Sembilan with strong soft skills.

• To shape students from Negeri Sembilan with a first-class mentality in all fields they pursue.

• To develop active students from Negeri Sembilan in the association by participating in various activities.

• To safeguard the welfare of students from Negeri Sembilan at the university by providing assistance to those in need.

• To assist the Negeri Sembilan Foundation in enhancing the achievements and employability of students.

• To provide benefits to all UPM students, regardless of their origin, through the development of soft skills and knowledge outside of academic field

MISSION

• To organize programs that benefit students from Negeri Sembilan and UPM.

• To bring together students from Negeri Sembilan with the aim of helping and getting to know one another.

• To serve as a communication bridge between students from Negeri Sembilan and the Negeri Sembilan Foundation.
