INTRODUCTION

Sabah Student Association of Universiti Putra Malaysia (PERMASA PUTRA) is an association that has been registered under the auspices of the Student Affairs Division, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The establishment of this association aims to safeguard the welfare of Sabah bumiputera students who are at Universiti Putra Malaysia as well as become a platform for other students to get to know the ethnicities and cultures found in the state of Sabah. Other than that, the Sabah Student Association of Universiti Putra Malaysia has planned and implemented many programmes based on the welfare of Sabah students as well as programmes that can further promote the uniqueness of Sabah among other students at UPM. In addition, PERMASA PUTRA also actively collaborates with external organisations, including Sabah student associations in other IPTA/S, agencies under the Sabah State Government, and several non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

OBJECTIVE

Prioritise matters related to the welfare of association members.
Universiti Putra Malaysia students from Sabah form closer bonds with one another regardless of their backgrounds in terms of religion or race.
Empower Sabah students to become excellent in the academic field and have high soft skills.
Give birth to the spirit of love for the state of Sabah and be willing to serve the people of Sabah.
Making association members the best human capital in the state of Sabah

"Ensuring the welfare of Sabah students is always maintained and produces credible, progressive, and competitive students."

MISION

The missions of this association are:

Increase unity among Sabah's bumiputera students, regardless of race or religion.
Protect the name of the state and prepare to serve Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Implement programmes/activities that can preserve the welfare of PERMASA PUTRA members.
Increasing collaborative programmes/activities with other organisations, including associations within and outside UPM, government agencies, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
Implement programmes/activities that have a high impact on students, society, and the country.
