DISABILITY SERVICES & SUPPORT SECTION

Provide and coordinate social assistance and support, facilities, learning support and facilitation, environment, and other amenities for the disabled community at Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Assist in the formulation of policies related to persons with disabilities (OKU) to meet the needs of the disabled community and disabled visitors at Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Serve as a liaison with all units, divisions, faculties, and campuses within Universiti Putra Malaysia to ensure the welfare of the disabled community and disabled visitors is well maintained.

Act as a mediator for development and research programmes related to the disabled community at Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Provide and maintain data related to persons with disabilities (OKU).

Manage assistance and support for allowances, scholarships, or other financial aid.

Coordinate accommodation assistance and support for disabled students on campus.

Coordinate moral and emotional support assistance for disabled students in collaboration with the Counselling Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia.
