ORGANIZATIONAL CHART OF THE FACULTY OF SCIENCE STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL (FASSCO)

INTRODUCTION

Faculty of Science Students’ Association or better known as FaSSA is the main Student Leadership Body under the Faculty of Science. This association becomes a pillar of student leadership through 4 clubs under the Faculty of Science, namely Biology Student Club, Chemistry Student Club, Physics Student Club and Mathematics and Statistics Student Club. FaSSA plays a role in organizing activities based on academic and co-curricular aspects. The organization of this activity is based on the Sustainable Development Goals and focuses on the field of science, especially in relation to STEM which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. FaSSA also acts as the main bridge that connects the management of the Faculty of Science with students. In the 2021/2022 session, FaSSA has successfully run 8 programs involving student groups and the general public. In the 2022/2023 session, FaSSA plans to increase its visibility to the community by organizing more programs at the national and international levels.

OBJECTIVE OF ESTABLISHMENT

• To produce Faculty of Science students who are disciplined, have leadership characteristics and are able to take the name of the Faculty of Science to a higher level.
• To assist the management of the Faculty of Science in managing the welfare of the students of the Faculty of Science and as an intermediate medium between the management of the Faculty of Science and the students of the Faculty of Science.
• To organize programs or activities that have a high impact on individuals, communities and the country.
• To contribute to the formation of wealth and national development as well as universal human progress through the exploration and dissemination of knowledge.
• To build close relationships between fellow members of the Faculty of Science.
