ORGANIZATIONAL CHART OF THE MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES FACULTY REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL (MEHSSCO) FOR THE 2024/2025 SESSION

INTRODUCTION

Medical and Health Sciences Student Association (MEHSSA) is a parent body based in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK). In 2015, MEHSSA was established as a result of a suggestion by Prof. Dr. Amin Ismail. MEHSSA leads the organizational leadership and management of FPSK student activities and collaborates with the clubs in various matters and affairs.

There are 7 clubs under MEHSSA such as the UPM Biomedical Club, UPM Nursing Club, UPM Foodnatic Club, UPM Environmental and Occupational Health (ENVOCH) Club, UPM Asean Medical Students' Association (AMSA) UPM Club, UPM Putra Medical Club (PMC) and the Muslim Medical Team (MMT) Club.

OBJECTIVE

Fostering the spirit of goodwill, friendship, and cooperation among undergraduate students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Ensuring the continuity of friendly relations between members and the faculty.
Planning and organizing activities to achieve the association's objectives and increase the association's financial resources.
Preserving and improving the association's image in the eyes of the community in all fields.
Becoming an advisor and giving guidance to the undergraduate students who are studying at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia, and assisting in the form of advisory services and whatever help is deemed necessary, appropriate, and capable by the committee with the permission of the faculty administration.
