INTRODUCTION

UPM Buddhist Society (PBUPM) has been established since 4 October 1966. PBUPM is a society established and operated by UPM students who are Buddhist. PBUPM aims to introduce, strengthen and integrate Buddhist teachings to all non-Muslim students.

 

 

 

OBJECTIVE OF UPM BUDDHIST SOCIETY (PBUPM)

• To study and improve the knowledge of Buddhism.
• To strengthen bonds of brotherhood, understanding and goodwill among students and University officials.
• To strengthen and maintain goodwill with different student bodies in the general community, regardless of race and religion.
• To encourage, nurture and instill the qualities of honesty, love and friendliness and compassion in accordance with the practices and teachings of Buddhism.
• To take care of the welfare of the members.
