Putra Voucher & Free Meals

The Student Affairs Division has implemented the UPM Putra Voucher Program for students at UPM.

This program is a form of convenience for UPM students from B40 families who receive food assistance through selected cafeterias at UPM.

This program is a collaboration between the Student Affairs Division and UPM's Information and Communication Development Center (iDEC) who can use smartphones while buying food in the cafeteria at UPM.

A total of RM32,000.00 was distributed to 200 selected B40 students covering various races and religions.

This initiative has a profound impact on students, especially when they are able to curb financial problems to buy food to continue living when the cost of living is increasing.

The Student Affairs Division believes that this noble initiative can be developed by involving several other Responsibility Centers (PTJ) at UPM in the future and will bring benefits to B40 students and all campus residents because in addition to practicing digitization practices, it is also user-friendly and helps students get healthy and sufficient food without having to tie the stomach.

In addition to the UPM Putra Voucher, other activities such as Free Meals are also implemented involving private companies, non-governmental organizations and individuals.

A total of 2,915 students benefited from this initiative. A total of RM43,178.00 was successfully generated in the form of food to be distributed to the students.

The Free Meals @ BHEP program is a FREE breakfast distribution program to students in need when dealing at the Student Affairs Division counter. The implementation of this program is as follows:

Date: Every Friday (except semester holidays)*

Time: 8.30am - 10.00am*
