INTRODUCTION

The English Debate Club (also known as Serdang Royals Debate Club) was built to provide a platform to debate and enhance critical thinking skills among UPM students. The activities that are held by this club aims to lend an opportunity to students to improve their debating and public speaking skills, while polishing their proficiency in English. This club is also active in various debating competitions, either locally or internationally.

 

 

 

OBJECTIVE

• Improve debating skills of members
• Training and giving exposure to enhance leadership skills 
• Improving the ability to think critically while analysing certain information 
• Encouraging good values within members in addition to their vast knowledge
• Enhancing the ability to communicate in English
• Improving the members’ soft skills
