From 4 to 6 November 2021, the UPM-KPT@KeluargaKita Visitation Program took place across Penang, Kedah, and Perlis. The program aimed to visit UPM students and provide financial aid, food, and electronic devices to those in need.
Participating in the program were Prof. Dr. Arifin Abdu, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs & Alumni) of UPM, Mr. Shariman Hashim, Chief Administrative Officer (Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s Office for Student Affairs & Alumni), Executive Officers from the UPM Student Affairs Division, and representatives from the UPM Student Representative Council.
A total of 11 UPM students received visits and aid personally delivered by Prof. Dr. Arifin Abdu. During the program, Prof. Dr. Arifin also visited the family of Muhammad Safwan bin Mazlan, a student who was involved in a road accident while returning to UPM. Financial assistance and medical expenses for the student were fully covered by UPM.
