BENTONG, 2 January 2022 – A total of 107 volunteers took part in the latest mission held at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bentong, Pahang.
"This is the first time the school has experienced such severe flooding; it has never happened before," said Mr. Noh bin Ishak, a teacher at the school.
Among the activities carried out were cleaning the school compound, clearing out damaged items, and distributing essential supplies to the local community—made possible through generous public donations.
Also present during the mission were Associate Professor Dr. Nur Izura Udzir, Director of the Centre for Co-Curriculum and Student Development at UPM, and Mr. Nuruliman Ibrahim, Head of the Student Affairs Division (BHEP) at UPM.
Sincere thanks are extended to everyone involved in this mission. May the efforts of UPM volunteers help ease the burden faced by the school and the surrounding community.
