Serdang, 19 August – PC Soft (M) Sdn Bhd has generously donated 30 laptop devices worth RM58,000 to be distributed to 30 UPM students from the B40 income group, through the Ministry of Higher Education’s CSR Program.
A simple symbolic handover ceremony was officiated by Ms. Azrina Zulkefli, General Manager of PC Soft, together with Mr. Nuruliman Ibrahim, Head of the UPM Student Affairs Division. All devices were touchscreen Dell Chromebooks, each valued at nearly RM2,000.
Also present were Ms. Laila Fariza Daud, PC Soft’s Finance and Administration Manager, and Ms. Shamilah Samian, Head of the Welfare Management Section, UPM Student Affairs Division. According to Ms. Azrina, this contribution is part of PC Soft’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at promoting corporate sustainability and improving the quality of life for selected B40 students, including those from the asnaf category.
On behalf of UPM, Mr. Nuruliman Ibn Ibrahim extended heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation to the management of PC Soft for their noble efforts and meaningful contribution.
“We hope this donation will ease the burden and support students in adapting to the new normal of learning, ultimately helping them succeed for the sake of religion, race, and nation. This is a sign of genuine concern, showing that underprivileged groups continue to receive attention from all quarters,†he said.
