Transportation Application and Vehicle Management Guidelines

 

  • Starting from 1st March 2024, all vehicle requests (MPV, van, and bus) under the supervision of the Student Affairs Division must be made online using the applicant’s UPM-ID through the PUTRALiner system on the Putra ASIS portal http://asis.upm.edu.my

  • All applications must be accompanied by supporting documents as specified in the PUTRALiner System and verified by the approving officer no later than seven (7) working days before the date of use.

  • Applicants will be notified of approval no later than three (3) days before the date of use. After the service is provided, all users must complete an evaluation before the next application can be made.

 

Student Category:

1. Ensure that the following document attachments are submitted during the application for local students:-

  • Program approval letter (Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International) – in the case of a practicum/academic visit or, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Students Affairs and Alumni) or Student Union - in case of students' programmes/co-curricular activities)
  • Namelist of passengers involved.
  • Tentative/vehicle schedule to ensure smooth service.

 

2. Ensure the following documents are attached during application for international students (e.g., inbound student mobility):

  • Program approval letter (Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International) – in the case of a practicum/academic visit or, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Students Affairs and Alumni) or Student Union - in case of students' programmes/co-curricular activities)
  • Namelist of passengers involved.
  • Tentative/vehicle schedule to ensure smooth service.
  • Services are not charged to mobility students who have a matriculation number (long-term mobility)

 

Staff Category:

1. Ensure that the following document attachments are submitted when applying for vehicle: 

  • Program approval letter from the Vice Chancellor's Office or Registrar Office.
  • List of names of passengers joining the group.
  • Tentative/vehicle movement schedule to ensure smooth service.
  • Services are not charged except for university programmes.
