SULUNG STUDENT EXCELLENCE PROGRAM SERIES 1 INSPIRES STUDENTS FOR SUCCESS

Serdang, January 24, 2025 – The Student Affairs Division (BHEP), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), organized the SULUNG Student Excellence Program Series 1 at Dewan Putra 1, Kolej Tan Sri Aishah Ghani (KTAG), with the participation of 165 students. This program involved students from SULUNG 1.0 and SULUNG 2.0, aiming to develop students' potential holistically so they can achieve excellence in both their studies and life.

This program, held for the first time, featured renowned guest speaker Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman, an alumni of UPM, who shared his life experiences and provided motivational insights to the students. His talk emphasized the importance of building self-confidence, effective time management, and positive thinking to overcome academic challenges.

The program was specifically designed to inspire students, especially with the final semester exams approaching on February 3, 2025. BHEP aims to ensure that students not only excel academically but also possess strong character, integrity, and leadership skills. They need to be prepared to contribute to the university, their families, communities, and the nation.

Through the organization of this program, BHEP hopes to continue its efforts in empowering the holistic development of students, in line with UPM's aspirations to produce high-quality graduates capable of making a positive impact on society. This program also serves as a platform to help students prepare mentally and emotionally to face the challenges of campus life.
