SERDANG, 27 October 2025 – Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), through the Student Affairs Division (BHEP) in collaboration with RHB Bank, organised the MySiswa Card Distribution and Activation Programme for new students of the 2025/2026 academic session. The programme was carried out in stages at several locations across the main campus.

The programme began on 15 October at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, followed by the Faculty of Engineering on 16 October, and continued on 21 and 22 October at Dewan Putra 1, KTAG. The final sessions were held on 23 and 24 October, also at Dewan Putra 1, KTAG.

The MySiswa card serves as the official student identification card and includes banking functions through UPM’s collaboration with RHB Bank. The card is essential for campus facility access, academic registration, student identity verification, and various transactions within UPM’s digital ecosystem.

This programme was organised to ensure all new students received and successfully activated their cards before commencing their studies in full. Throughout the programme, distribution counters and technical support services were provided by BHEP and RHB Bank to assist with the activation process and offer further information on card functions.

According to a representative from BHEP, the programme received a very positive response from new students and successfully ensured that all students obtained an active student card, facilitating academic and financial processes throughout their studies at UPM.
