HEP IFTAR EVENT AND RAMADAN TAZKIRAH STRENGTHEN STAFF BONDS

Serang, 13 March 2026 – The Student Affairs Division (HEP) organized a meaningful iftar event held at the BHEP lobby. The program brought together HEP staff and their family members in a warm and harmonious atmosphere in conjunction with the month of Ramadan.

The event was organized with the aim of strengthening ties among HEP staff while also providing a platform for spiritual enrichment through a tazkirah session. The presence of staff with their families further enlivened the occasion, making it more inclusive, harmonious, and family-oriented. Such programs are also seen as a way to foster a stronger sense of togetherness and cultivate a more positive work culture among HEP members.

The event began with a Ramadan tazkirah session titled “When Ramadan Teaches Us About Returning”, delivered by Encik Nik Mohamad Ridhwan Nik Nasrudin. In his talk, he emphasized that Ramadan is the best opportunity for individuals to return to their true nature as servants of Allah who constantly seek His forgiveness and mercy. The concept of “returning” was explained as a process of reconnecting with faith, sincerity, and inner peace, which are often neglected due to the busyness of daily life. He also highlighted the importance of self-reflection, improving daily practices, increasing acts of worship, and strengthening relationships with others, especially within the family and society.

Following the tazkirah session, attendees broke their fast together in a simple yet grateful atmosphere. A variety of dishes were served, reflecting the spirit of togetherness and sharing, while also providing an opportunity for staff to interact in a relaxed and informal setting.

Overall, the event successfully achieved its objectives by strengthening bonds and instilling positive values among HEP staff and their families, while also contributing to personal development.
