BHEP ORGANIZES INDUCTION COURSE FOR MPP SESSION 2023/2024

SERDANG, May 24-26, 2024 – The Student Affairs Division organized the Induction Course for the Student Representative Council (MPP) of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) from May 24 to 26, 2024. A total of 33 participants from the 2023/2024 UPM Student Representative Council participated in this program, held at the Serdang Briefing Hall. This three-day program aimed to provide exposure on leader's personal appearance, organizational administrative management, communication techniques, student safety management, and exemplary leadership personality, ultimately shaping the identity of the newly appointed MPP members to face future challenges.

Six modules were conducted during this course: Slot 1 on Leader's Appearance, Slot 2 on Official Letter Writing, Paperwork, and Meeting Minutes (by Mrs. Noraihan Noordin, Head of the Student Affairs Division), Slot 3 on Communication Techniques (by Mrs. Noorizai Binti Mohamad Noor@Mohamad, Chief Administrator at the Vice Chancellor's Office), Slot 4 on Student Safety (by Mr. Nor Azlan Mohamed, Director of the Security Division), Slot 5 on Exemplary Personality (by Mrs. Anis Akmilah, Counselor at the University Counseling Division), and Slot 6 on the Presentation of the Student Representative Council Calendar for the 2023/2024 session (by Mr. Khairul Hafiz Mohammad, Head of the Leadership and Identity Section). To achieve the objectives, an additional ice-breaking activity was conducted to strengthen the bonds and solidify the team among the newly appointed Student Representative Council members for the 2023/2024 session.

Overall, the course concluded successfully and received positive feedback from the participants.
