Benchmarking University Program: Hello UMPSA! at Universiti Malaysia Pahang

April 19 - 21, 2024 | UMP – The Benchmarking University Program: Hello UMPSA! was successfully held at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Gambang Campus. This program was organized by the Student Affairs and Alumni Department (JHEPA) of UMPSA in collaboration with the Residential Student Representative Council 1 (PEKA 1). The event saw participation from nine Malaysian public universities, including Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), International Islamic University Malaysia (UIA), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMPSA), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTEM), and Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UNIMAP).

Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) sent four representatives to participate in this program. The delegation included two members from the Student Representative Council (SRC), Ms. Sarah Adila binti Mohd Fauzai @ Mohd Fauzi and Ms. Nurzatil Syahirah binti Khairu Azahar, along with two representatives from the College Representative Council (CRC), Mr. Muhammad Firdaus bin Zulkifli and Mr. Mohammad Hafiz bin Mohammad Fauzi.

Throughout the three-day event, UPM achieved notable success by winning four prestigious awards. The first award was for Best Speaker in the RTD Leadership Development in Campus Community slot, recognizing UPM's representative for their outstanding presentation on leadership development. The second accolade was for Best Presenter in the High Impact Program Module, highlighting UPM's excellence in delivering impactful content. Additionally, UPM won the Best Attire Award (Appreciation Night), showcasing creativity and style. Lastly, UPM received the Best IPTA Delegation Award, reflecting the university's overall exceptional performance throughout the program.

This success marks a significant achievement for UPM, demonstrating the high quality and dedication of its representatives. The program not only provided an opportunity for students to enhance their leadership skills and knowledge in relevant fields but also showcased UPM's commitment to excellence. This accomplishment is expected to inspire and motivate other students to participate in and support similar programs in the future.
