SERDANG, 3 September 2025 – A total of 30 facilitators, comprising 15 staff from the Student Affairs Division (BHEP) and 15 Fellow representatives from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) colleges, have successfully completed the Facilitator Training of Trainers (TOT) Workshop in preparation for the university-level National Undergraduate Program.
The workshop, held at Dewan Putra 1, Kolej Tan Sri Aishah Ghani, was specifically organized to standardize modules and delivery methods to ensure the main program can be implemented smoothly and achieve maximum impact.
This workshop also focused on providing exposure to facilitator training and best practice implementation methods to ensure the program is managed according to its set objectives. Therefore, the involvement of TOT participants is crucial to guarantee the smooth execution and success of the UPM National Undergraduate Program.
Throughout the workshop, participants were introduced to three main modules. The Smart Tunnel module emphasized aspects of leadership, communication, and team resilience in facing challenges. The Interactive Nationhood module aimed to enhance students' understanding and awareness of the values and principles of Malaysia Madani. Subsequently, the Raja Ohsom module provided practical training for handling challenging situations that may arise during the program.
With structured training and the involvement of experienced facilitators, UPM's BHEP is confident that this year's National Undergraduate Program will have a positive impact. The program is expected to produce graduates who not only excel academically but also possess strong leadership qualities, self-identity, and a high sense of national spirit.
Overall, TOT workshop is a testament to UPM's commitment to empowering students as competitive human capital in line with national aspirations.
