Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is not only an institution of higher learning and a center for the dissemination of knowledge, but also a platform for shaping the character of its students. Within this framework, the concept of Jiwa Putra (Putra Soul) emerges as a vision that upholds the values of love, togetherness, and responsibility towards the campus and residential colleges. Jiwa Putra is not merely a symbolic identity, but a philosophy that guides students to balance academic excellence with the strength of human values.

To embrace Jiwa Putra is to realize that the university is a second home that must be cherished and appreciated. A beautiful and sustainable campus is not merely a physical space for learning, but a reflection of a culture of knowledge and virtue passed down through generations. When students care for cleanliness, preserve facilities, and respect their surroundings, they are in fact nurturing a sense of love for the institution that educates them.
