INTRODUCTION

Persatuan Mahasiswa Fakulti Sains Komputer dan Teknologi Maklumat or Computer Science Students’ Association (ComSSA) is one of the faculty student associations registered under the Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar (BHEP) Universiti Putra Malaysia and is active in encouraging students’ participation in various activities ever since its early establishment. ComSSA has been developing students’ soft skills at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT) for four years at the Universiti Putra Malaysia so that they will become holistic and multi-skilled individuals upon graduation. There are four (4) clubs registered under ComSSA which are Networking Club, Multimedia Club, Software Engineering Club and Computer Science Club.

OBJECTIVE OF COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION (COMSSA) ESTABLISHMENT

To produce students who are of high caliber and authoritative in terms of academics and extracurriculars at the faculty and university level to prepare students for the professional world they are about to enter.
To plan activities that can help students improve their soft skills and academics.
To strengthen the bond between all members of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology.
To provide a communication medium between the Computer Science and Information Technology Faculty associations/clubs and other UPM associations/clubs.
To provide a platform for students to develop and train their leadership talent.
