SERDANG, June 23, 2019 – Student Affairs Division, Centre of Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science and University Agricultural Parks has organized Mega Plant Trees Series 1 in an effort to conserve the green flora through a green sustainability initiative.
A total of 800 Students Agricultural Science participated in the program, where participants were divided into two areas, namely at the Student Complex and Infomation Road to plant all the Bougainvillea Plants that have been prepared.

The program started as early as 7.00 am with the senamobik program which was administered by the Head of HEPA Administration, Mrs Noorizai Mohd Noor and was followed by a welcoming speech by the University Agriculture Park Director and the opening ceremony was officiated by UPM Vice Chancellor, Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Aini Ideris.
UPM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Aini Ideris said the program was a University's commitment to ensure UPM's green base policy was enhanced in line with the University's aspiration to make UPM a renowned green campus in the future.

Also present was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of HEPA, Prof. Roslan Sulaiman and other University Committee members and other Universities Officers. This program is the first series and will be followed by the next series.
