SERDANG, 23 December - Team Development Division, Malaysian Volunteer Department (RELA) led by PPjKR Tuan Khairul Aswadi bin Kamarudin, Assistant Director of Team Development Division visited the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs) on 23 December 2020. The visit was kindly provided by Mr. Shahriman Hashim, Head of Administration (Student and Alumni Affairs, Tn. Hj Azmi Mohd Noordin, Uniformed Body Coordinator (PALAPES / SUSKSIS / SISPA) and Ms. Rita Bajat, Assistant Registrar of TNCHEPA Offices and Mr. Abdul Hadi Samsi, TNCHEPA Special Officer, UPM.

Also present from the Team Development Division, Malaysian Volunteer Department (RELA) were PPjKR Tuan Amirul Imran bin Nordin, Assistant Director of Team Development Division, PPjR Puan Maisarah binti Hamzah and Puan Siti Hajar binti Saarani, Team Development Division Officer.

The purpose of the visit was to provide a Briefing on the Development of RELA Student Students Team (RELASIS) in institutions of higher learning in Malaysia, including discussing the procedures and guidelines for the establishment of RELASIS in public universities in particular.

Apart from that, this visit also provides an opportunity for the Malaysian Volunteer Department (RELA), Ministry of Home Affairs and UPM to get to know each other to strengthen cooperation between the two parties, especially in training and educating students on the concept of volunteerism through community activities to ensure well-being, safety, harmony and local security as inspired by YBhg.
