Team “Banai” from Universiti Putra Malaysia has been selected in the Wild Card Entry Application in the Hult Accelerator Program (3rd Stage) for five weeks in the United Kingdom among the other 40 selected teams from all over the world! Each team selected was chosen from more than +200,000 applications received from over +1,000 colleges and universities in over +160 countries!

Banai's Idea has been developed by Tahzinul Islam, Prokriti Wazed Sikder, Akif Islam & Tahiya Islam are the students of Universiti Putra Malaysia that revolves around Makerspace Freelancing, equipping the youth with valuable skillsets in various fields, from product design, multimedia, arts, music & dance, cooking and more. The team's backgrounds are diverse, ranging from fields of Software Engineering, Product Design, Biotechnology and Pharmacology.

At the Hult Prize Accelerator, they will receive mentorship, advisory and strategic planning as they create prototypes and set-up to launch their new social business. As they get one step closer, the teams who excel at the Hult Prize Accelerator will be invited to 10th Annual Hult Prize Awards & Gala at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, New York. Where a start-studded judge panel will select the winning team, which will be awarded the US$ 1,000,000 prize by President Bill Clinton himself.
