Re-activation of UPM Residential Colleges Operational Room

Serdang UPM: UPM Residential Colleges Operational Room was reactivated due to the government’s recent announcement regarding the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). The Operational Room operates everyday from 8.00 a.m till 10.00 p.m.

It is located at the Pendeta Za’ba College, UPM and have been in duty since 18th March 2020 and ended on the 30th August 2020, when the Movement Control Order (MCO) was enforced earlier.

However, the reactivation took place on the 14th October 2020 due to the Honorable Malaysia’s Prime Minister’s announcement on CMCO. The main purpose for the re-opening is to ensure the welfare of students who are still in the campus. Besides, the Operational Room also handles the donations given by outside parties and later on disperses them accordingly to the students in the residential colleges.

The officers that are currently working in the Operational Room are from the Students’ Affairs Division and student volunteers from the UPM Students’ Representative Council as well as College Students’ Representative Councils.
