USM Kubang Kerian, March 15, 2019 - Putra Nahwan from Nasyid Club Nahwan Nur has been achieve second place in "Battle of Islamic Band" competition the other day.

Putra Nahwan has also received the Best Performance Award and also the best Vocal in competition

A total of 5 groups from UiTM Machang, UNIMAP, UPM, UMK and USM participated in the Battle of Islamic Band competition where the competition was to find the difference in preaching.

The program was officiated by the Deputy Director of the Campus, Professor Dr. Adam bin Husein. Each Group is required to present 2 songs, their cover songs and their own song.

The winner of this competition was embraced by the UMK group of Erudite who performed a song popularized by Caliph Busker and his own songwriting, written by Adam Azmy, the Forgive. They took home RM1,000 cash and trophies
