SERDANG - Student Representative Council of University Putra Malaysia 2019/2020 in collaboration with the Student Affairs Division, UPM Sports Center and UPM Student Curriculum and Development Center has organized the Putra Quality Quarantine on March 30, 2020 until April 12, 2020.
This program is a virtual activity of students during the period of the Movement Control Order (MCO). The target group is to include all UPM students who are currently undergoing quarantine and the Control Movement Order (MCO) in their residential colleges and in their homes.
Muhammad Farhan Roslan, the program director, said there were 8 activities implemented during the period such as Creative Video, 'UPM Stay Safe', Relaxation Idea, E-Sport Ml Open, Hot phytopography Creative, UPM Fitness Challenge, Slogan Creating Competition and Health Care Tips.
Such programs have had little impact on the delivery of students with a balanced mental, emotional and physical health; capitalize on free time by learning new things and new soft skills as well as leveraging the scientific information shared by the Putra Quality Quarantine participants.
This indirectly enables students to spend more time at home or college with beneficial activities while at the same time avoiding boredom and emotional turmoil during the Movement Control Order (MCO). Through this program as well students are able to gain new knowledge.
