Functions of UPM Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs) Office

The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs) is responsible for managing, implementing, coordinating and monitoring the functions and administrative activities of student affairs and alumni as follows:

1. Manage and coordinate the development activities of the HEPA Strategic Plan
2. Manage and prepare the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) report of Student Affairs and Alumni (HEPA)
3. Manage and monitor the implementation of the Action Plan and Achievement of HEPA Strategic Plan 2021 – 2023
4. Plan, implement and coordinate HEPA visibility initiatives
5. Manage and coordinate HEPA Corporate Affairs and External Relations
6. Coordinate HEPA Official Visitors
7. Manage, coordinate, and prepare the HEPA Annual Report
8. Manage, coordinate and monitor HEPA Quality Management System
9. Manage the feedback reports of Parliament, Ministry of Higher Education, University Board of Directors and University Management Committee on HEPA issues
10. Prepare reports for the Meeting of Deputy Vice-Chancellors / Deputy Rector (Student Affairs and Alumni) of Public Universities
11. Manage and prepare reports/presentations for Senior Officer Meetings
12. To compose an official speech involving the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs) and guest of honour for the relevant program
13. Provide HEPA governance, management and administration advisory services for related functions and activities
14. Secretariat for HEPA Management Committee Meeting
15. Secretariat for HEPA Process Effectiveness Review Meeting
16. Secretariat for Deputy Vice-Chancellor Meeting (Student Affairs and Alumni) With Principal
17. Secretariat for Food Price Monitoring Committee Meeting
18. Secretariat for HEPA Human Resource Development Panel (PPSM) Meeting
19. Secretariat for Appointment of Residential College Fellows and Chairman of the Board of Principals
20. Coordinate projects or initiatives directed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni) from time to time
