The Housing Complex

  UHC is one of the entities under the purview of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni) Office which is a permanent income generator to the university. It was formerly known as the International Transit House (ITH) under the management of the UPM International Center. The current management manages 34 apartments / residences consisting of UPM students and international staffs. KPU consists of two blocks of apartment building containing 34 units.

Among the facilities provided are 2 bedrooms, 1 reading room, 1 toilet and high speed internet facilities. The area is monitored by a fellow in charge to ensure the safety of the tenants and all rules and regulations set forth by management are strictly followed. Plenty of parking spaces available for the tenants.


The housing complex is located in the main campus of Universiti Putra Malaysia, Serdang which is situated near to the commercial area of ​​Sri Serdang Flat (700 m) which has various restaurants, facilities and other services. Other facilities such as CIMB (300 m), Kedai Rakyat 1Malaysia (310 m) Pos Malaysia (400 m) can be reached by foot. The UPM MRT station scheduled to be completed in 2020 will provide easy access to the residents heading for Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam and Kajang.
